Environmentally friendly packaging
Many conventional watch brands reflect their brand attributes in their packaging, which is usually meant to convey luxury. To reflect this luxury, often pompous packaging is produced, which would not do without synthetic material, plastic, leather or wood. However, we are convinced that our watches do not need pompous packaging to emphasize their elegance. Just like our Leroux Blanc watches, our packaging captivates with minimalism, elegance and down-to-earthness.
All our watches are packed with recyclable materials. We have made a conscious decision not to use plastic. It is extremely important to us that the watches are sufficiently protected during transport and can be shipped efficiently and cost-effectively without compromising your unpacking experience. The cost savings due to our space-efficient packaging come back to you in the price. After all, you don't want to buy the packaging, you want to buy our watch.
Our packaging is made from cardboard in the greater Zurich area. If you don't want to keep the packaging because you prefer a minimalist lifestyle and don't want to store too many items at home, you can easily dispose of it in the conventional cardboard collection. The metal eyelets can be disposed of in the conventional scrap metal collection.
Caring for the environment together with Leroux Blanc
Do you have a watch at home that you no longer like, has been gathering dust somewhere for half an eternity or, in the worst case, no longer works at all? A wristwatch that no longer runs has no value, no matter how beautiful it may be. And then you may be too lazy to have it repaired, the repair would be too expensive or the joy of it is lost anyway.
For us at Leroux Blanc, the idea that a wristwatch could be thrown away is far too sad. In our opinion, every wristwatch deserves to be reused or disposed of properly when it has outlived its owner.
We ensure that your wristwatch is disposed of properly in Switzerland and that the individual raw material parts are recycled. In this way, we contribute to the environment, sensitize people to the recycling of watches and dispose of your once beloved wristwatch with dignity.
If you send us your old watch by mail, you will receive CHF 10* as a thank you for your commitment to the environment. We don't care what kind of watch you send us or what condition it is in. After disassembly into its individual parts, the individual materials such as steel, brass, glass and plastic are sorted out and disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner or used to repair other watches.
What you can do to ensure that your wristwatch undergoes proper recycling:
1. pack wristwatch and label package/letter with sender's address
2. enclose payment information (bank or Paypal) and e-mail address
3. take package or letter to the post office
4. send to the following address:

You will receive an email from us after we have received your watch and made the payment. After that, your old watch will be released for recycling.
